Film of the Azerbaijani director wins international award

Baku /23.10.18 / Turan: The film “Pomegranate Garden” of Azerbaijani director Ilgar Najaf received the Grand Prix of the Didor film festival in Tajikistan. The film from Azerbaijan became the winner in the nomination “The Best Feature Film”. Earlier, the same film has already received awards from the European Film Academy and several other international festivals. The drama genre film tells about the family problems of a person who left the family and was absent from his home for more than 10 years. The author of the script is Ilgar Najaf, Asif Rustamov and Rolaf Jan Minebo, production director is Aykhan Salar, composer Firudin Allahverdiyev, producer Mushfig Khatamov and Ilgar Najaf. The film is a production of Azerbaijanfilm and Butafilm studios.
